The Smith and Wesson Equalizer 13732 combines a manual thumb safety and grip safety with a 3.675-inch 9mm barrel in a polymer-frame pistol. Two 10-round magazines are supplied. Its easy-to-rack slide is a central design feature, with a listed 22.5-ounce weight and 6.75-inch overall length defining the equipped handgun's compact proportions.

The single-action mechanism uses an internal hammer, keeping the rear profile enclosed while the external safety controls remain visible. Grip texture helps establish contact around the backstrap safety. The optics-ready slide provides an interface for compatible sighting equipment, and conventional iron sights remain part of the upper alongside the compatible-optic interface.

The Smith and Wesson Equalizer adds a rail beneath the barrel for compatible accessories, separate from the slide's sighting interface. Both magazines share the same capacity, making the included equipment easy to identify.
