Ruger SR1911 Target 6759 Overview

The Ruger SR1911 Target 6759 combines a 5-inch 9mm barrel with stainless steel frame and slide construction in a 41.9-ounce target handgun. Two nine-round magazines are included. Its 8.67-inch overall length provides the full-size profile, with G10 grip panels adding texture and contrast to the broad expanse of stainless metalwork.

The target sight arrangement includes an adjustable rear, giving a defined means of matching the sight setting to ammunition and point of impact. A skeletonized single-action trigger provides the familiar straight-moving 1911 interface. The pistol also retains an exposed hammer, extended beavertail, thumb safety, and grip safety within the traditional control scheme.

The Ruger SR1911 Target puts its emphasis on sight adjustment, grip contact, and substantial construction. The longer slide establishes a generous distance between the iron sights, while the rigid composite panels resist the soft feel of rubber. The pistol's listed height is 5.45 inches, giving the long slide and target-sight equipment a full grip frame beneath them for deliberate range practice.
