Ruger Mark IV Target 40159 Overview

The Ruger Mark IV Target 40159 gives a .22 LR pistol oversized target laminate grips beneath a 5.5-inch barrel. The handgun's aluminum frame supports the broader contact surfaces below its fixed upper.

The adjustable rear sight works with the fixed front to refine the conventional reference. The internal bolt cycles through the receiver, keeping the barrel and sighting assembly stationary. The larger laminate panels change the physical contact area around the hand beneath the conventional target upper. Its internal bolt leaves the barrel and iron references stationary, while the rear-button takedown system permits the receiver assembly to separate from the aluminum lower for routine maintenance.

Two 10-round magazines accompany the Ruger Mark IV Target pistol's approximately 9.75-inch overall configuration, with a listed width of 1.46 inches and weight near 35.8 ounces. Its shaped target grips are a meaningful fitting detail beyond color or material appearance. The supplied magazines fit below that broader contact arrangement, while the long bull barrel and adjustable rear retain the conventional aiming features of the Target configuration.
