The Ruger 57 16401-GLD-FR is a Gold-framed 5.7×28mm pistol with a long upper and external thumb safeties. Its coated polymer lower carries an elongated grip and molded accessory rail.

The Ruger 57 pistol's protected internal hammer operates through Ruger's Secure Action system with a trigger-blade safety. The handgun's adjustable rear sight permits refinement against the fiber-optic front reference. The gold-coated lower retains a glass-filled nylon grip frame with molded texture and a reversible magazine release beside the manual levers. Its steel slide uses lightening cuts and drilling and tapping for an appropriate optical adapter, retaining concrete material and equipment details above the separately treated frame and elongated hand-contact area below it.

Two 20-round magazines accompany the Ruger 57's 4.94-inch barrel, with overall length near 8.65 inches and a listed weight of approximately 24.5 ounces. Its adjustable rear refines the iron reference in windage and elevation against the fiber-optic front. The molded rail provides a different attachment location below the barrel, preserving separate conventional sighting, optical mounting, and frame-accessory interfaces around the protected internal-hammer mechanism.
