CorBon 38 Super +P 115gr JHP 38X11520 Overview

CorBon 38 Super 115 grain jacketed hollow point 38X11520 ammo uses a 115-grain jacketed hollow point in a +P-marked 38 Super cartridge. The relatively light bullet and defensive nose configuration distinguish it from conventional FMJ ammunition used for 38 Super practice.

38 Super is a semiautomatic pistol chambering, not another name for 38 Special. This +P ammo carries CorBon's 1,450-fps listing and belongs in a pistol approved for its chambering and pressure designation. The bullet cavity is intended to promote deformation, but impact results depend on more than the printed velocity.

A shooter who trains with heavier 38 Super FMJ can check how the different 115-grain JHP nose feeds and where it strikes. CorBon sells this ammo in 20-round boxes of defensive cartridges, keeping the exact +P variant identifiable.

CorBon 38 Super +P Key Features

  • 38 Super +P: The cartridge carries a +P designation and is distinct from 38 Special.
  • 115-Grain JHP: A light jacketed hollow-point projectile provides an expansion-oriented defensive nose.
  • Rated Muzzle Speed: CorBon lists 1,450 fps for the load.
