Aguila 9mm 147gr FP-FMJ 1E097719 Overview
Aguila Ammunition 9mm 147 grain flat point full metal jacket 1E097719 ammo takes a less common approach to 9mm practice: a heavy FMJ bullet with a noticeably flatter nose. That profile distinguishes it from the rounded 115- and 124-grain FMJ cartridges often seen on the firing line.
At a listed 950 fps, the 147-grain projectile occupies a different weight-and-velocity category from Aguila's lighter 9mm practice loads. The flat nose changes the bullet's shape, but it should not be mistaken for a hollow point or a promise of defensive expansion. This ammo is useful when the goal is to practice with the specific feel and point of impact of a 147-grain target cartridge.
For pistols that are particular about bullet profiles, trying the ammunition in the intended firearm also provides a straightforward feed-function check. The load comes in 50-round boxes with brass cases and is made in Mexico.
