Aguila Colibri 22 LR 20gr LRN 1B220337 Overview

Aguila Colibri 22 LR 20 grain lead round nose 1B220337 ammo is a powderless rimfire load that relies on its priming compound to propel the bullet. Developed for exceptionally quiet, close-range shooting, Colibri is intended for bolt-action rifles and revolvers rather than semiautomatic firearms.

Aguila rates Colibri at just 420 fps with 8 foot-pounds of muzzle energy, explaining its minimal recoil and reduced report. The low-energy loading generally cannot cycle a semiautomatic action, so firearm compatibility is especially important. Colibri is offered in a 50-round box.

Aguila Colibri 22 LR Key Features

  • Powderless Loading: The cartridge uses primer energy rather than a conventional powder charge.
  • Lead Round Nose: A 20-grain unjacketed projectile gives Colibri its lightweight bullet profile.
  • Manual-Action Design: Aguila designed this primer-powered cartridge for compatible bolt-action rifles and revolvers.
