Fiocchi Heritage 7.65 Para 93gr SJSP 765B Overview

Fiocchi Heritage 7.65 Parabellum 93 grain semi-jacketed soft point 765B ammo serves the historic 7.65 Parabellum cartridge with a 93-grain bullet that leaves lead exposed at its nose. Often encountered under the 30 Luger name, this bottlenecked handgun chambering is distinct from other 7.65mm cartridges, making exact identification important.

The semi-jacketed soft point combines a jacketed bearing surface with an exposed lead tip, rather than using a fully enclosed FMJ nose or an open hollow-point cavity. Fiocchi lists 1,210 fps for this ammunition. The Heritage line's appeal here is access to an older cartridge with a particular bullet construction, not an implication that it fits every pistol marked with a similar metric caliber.

Before shooting a vintage pistol, verifying its mechanical condition and exact chambering is more important than judging the firearm by age or appearance. The semi-jacketed projectile also warrants checking against any applicable firearm and range requirements. Fiocchi supplies 50 brass-cased rounds of this ammo for collectors and recreational shooters with a correctly chambered handgun.
