Armscor 45 Long Colt 255gr LRN FAC45LC-1N Overview

Armscor 45 Long Colt 255 grain lead round nose FAC45LC-1N ammo keeps the traditional character of the cartridge intact. A heavy, unjacketed 255-grain bullet with a rounded nose recalls the simple lead projectiles long associated with single-action revolvers. There is no hollow-point cavity or separate jacket to confuse with a modern defensive design.

For shooters who enjoy older-style revolvers, the attraction is often the experience of working with a familiar bullet profile rather than chasing headline velocities. Armscor lists this ammo at 800 fps. As with other unjacketed lead bullets, keeping an eye on bore fouling is sensible, especially during extended practice sessions.

For 45 Colt enthusiasts who enjoy traditional revolver shooting, this ammunition keeps the familiar 255-grain lead round nose profile in the rotation without introducing a specialized hollow-point design. Fifty brass-cased cartridges come in each box.

Armscor 45 Long Colt Key Features

  • 255-Grain Lead Round Nose: The heavy unjacketed lead projectile preserves the traditional rounded-bullet 45 Colt configuration.
  • Published Muzzle Speed: This load is listed at 800 fps.
  • Lead-Bullet Maintenance: Because the projectile is unjacketed, shooters should monitor the bore for lead buildup during extended practice.
