CCI Pest Control 45 ACP #9 Shot 3745 Overview

CCI Pest Control 45 ACP 117 grain No. 9 shotshell 3745 ammo replaces the conventional single 45 ACP bullet with a payload of small pellets. It is a specialty cartridge for nearby pests, not the sort of load selected for scoring conventional pistol groups.

The semiautomatic platform brings a practical consideration that revolver shotshells don't share: feeding and cycling can differ from ordinary cartridges. Shooters should confirm how this ammo feeds and cycles in the actual pistol before relying on it. The No. 9 pellet spread deserves a close-range pattern check, since factory ballistics can't indicate how that shot cloud will distribute.

CCI rates the cartridge at 1,100 fps. Its 45 ACP chambering and fine-shot construction identify a specialty pest-control cartridge rather than another FMJ or JHP. This ammunition is packaged ten rounds per box.

CCI Pest Control 45 ACP Key Features

  • Specialty 45 ACP Cartridge: This round is configured for short-range pest control rather than single-projectile practice.
  • Published Velocity: The No. 9 shotshell is rated at 1,100 fps at the muzzle.
