CorBon 38 Spl +P 125gr JHP 38125 Overview

CorBon 38 Special 125 grain jacketed hollow point 38125 ammo pairs a 125-grain jacketed hollow point with a +P-rated 38 Special cartridge for defensive revolver use. The open-nose bullet is an expanding design, while the higher-pressure marking sets it apart from standard-pressure 38 Special practice ammunition.

For a revolver owner, the +P designation deserves attention before bullet weight or velocity. Many older 38 Special designs were not made for higher-pressure cartridges, so a proper pressure rating matters more than the familiar caliber marking.

CorBon specifies 1,250 fps for this 125-grain ammo. Its 20-round package contains the JHP load to be evaluated for actual sight regulation and functioning in the particular +P-rated revolver.

CorBon 38 Special +P Key Features

  • 125-Grain Hollow Point: The jacketed projectile uses a cavity-nosed design for defensive applications.
  • 38 Special +P: The higher-pressure designation requires a revolver rated for +P ammunition.
  • 1,250-FPS Listing: The published speed identifies this particular 125-grain factory load.
