DoubleTap SnakeShot 38 Spl 130gr #9 Shot 38SPSS2 Overview

DoubleTap SnakeShot 38 Special 130 grain No. 9 shotshell 38SPSS2 ammo uses a 130-grain charge of No. 9 pellets in the familiar 38 Special chambering. The SnakeShot design exchanges the single bullet of a standard revolver cartridge for multiple small projectiles intended for nearby pests.

With a shotshell, sight picture tells only part of the story because the pellets disperse after leaving the muzzle. The useful measurement is the pattern from the intended revolver at a practical distance, not an imagined conventional bullet group.

DoubleTap lists this 38 Special ammo at 1,000 fps. The 20-round package of No. 9 shot ammunition carries a 130-grain pellet charge for close-range pest work.

DoubleTap SnakeShot 38 Special Key Features

  • Fine No. 9 Shot: The cartridge releases a group of small pellets instead of a single projectile.
  • 130-Grain Shot Charge: The load contains a 130-grain pellet payload.
  • Pest-Control Configuration: This 38 Special shotshell is designed for short-range pest work.
