Magtech 32 S&W 85gr LRN 32SWA Overview

Magtech 32 S&W 85 grain lead round nose 32SWA ammo loads an unjacketed 85-grain bullet in the original short 32 Smith and Wesson revolver cartridge. The rounded lead nose reflects a different era of handgun cartridges than modern jacketed defensive hollow points.

This short 32 S&W ammo must not be confused with 32 S&W Long, even though the names are closely related. Magtech specifies 702 fps for this ammunition. Because old revolvers vary widely in condition, age, and design, firearm suitability matters more than applying broad assumptions to every gun marked with a 32-caliber designation.

Traditional revolver owners may choose the 85-grain lead round nose for target familiarization with the original short chambering. Each box holds 50 brass-cased rounds, and the unjacketed bullet is intended for conventional practice rather than controlled defensive expansion. This ammo should be matched to the firearm’s exact chambering and approved load requirements.

Magtech Key Features

  • 85-Grain Lead Round Nose: The unjacketed, rounded projectile follows a traditional 32 S&W revolver profile.
  • Original 32 S&W: The short cartridge is distinct from the longer 32 S&W Long chambering.
  • Factory Muzzle Rating: Magtech lists 702 fps for product 32SWA.
