Sellier and Bellot 25 ACP 50 grain full metal jacket SB25A ammo follows a classic pocket-pistol target configuration rather than an expanding-bullet design. The simple round-nose target projectile is appropriate for basic practice with a cartridge originally developed for very compact handguns. Its 50-grain bullet reflects the long-established weight used in this small centerfire caliber.
A 25 ACP pistol usually gives the shooter limited sight radius and grip area, making repeatable practice more useful than assumptions based solely on cartridge energy. This ammo is listed at 748 fps, consistent with its small-caliber, low-mass configuration. Small pocket pistols can make trigger control and short sight radius especially noticeable on the target, independent of the nominal muzzle speed.
Pocket-pistol practice tends to emphasize familiarity with compact controls and the firearm's relatively short sighting plane. The FMJ bullet offers a familiar non-expanding projectile for those sessions, rather than an engineered expansion cavity. Sellier and Bellot supplies 50 Czech-made, brass-cased cartridges per box. Because 25 ACP uses centerfire priming, it should not be treated as a substitute for any similarly sized rimfire ammunition.
