CCI Specialty WRF 22 WRF 45gr JHP 69 Overview
CCI Specialty 22 WRF 45 grain jacketed hollow point 69 ammo keeps the historic 22 Winchester Rim Fire cartridge available with a modern hunting bullet. First associated with Winchester's late-nineteenth-century pump-action rifles, the WRF chambering has different dimensions from 22 LR and is not simply another name for 22 WMR.
CCI's JHP design combines a copper-composition jacket and a specialized bullet base intended to work with older rifle barrels, with a published muzzle velocity of 1,300 fps. Offered in a 50-round box, this specialty loading carries an important restriction: CCI cautions against using its jacketed 22 WRF ammunition in revolvers, whose older barrels may have undersized bores.
CCI Specialty WRF 22 WRF Key Features
- Historic Chambering: The cartridge is specifically designated for 22 Winchester Rim Fire firearms.
- Specialized Bullet Base: CCI designed the jacketed projectile to suit older rifle barrels.
- Revolver Restriction: CCI warns against using this ammunition in 22 WRF revolvers with undersized bores.
