CCI Shotshell Pest Control 22 WMR 52 Grain No. 12 Shot 25 Overview

CCI Shotshell Pest Control 22 WMR 52 grain No. 12 shot 25 ammo carries a charge of fine pellets instead of a single bullet. Made for pest control at very close distances, its magnum-rimfire case holds a heavier shot payload than CCI's 22 LR counterpart, although both use the same No. 12 pellet size.

The small shot disperses as it leaves the muzzle, making pattern density and distance more important than the trajectory of a conventional bullet. CCI rates this 20-round box loading at 1,000 fps. It is intended for firearms chambered in 22 WMR, and CCI specifically warns against using its rimfire shotshells in ported barrels or with ported recoil compensators.

CCI Shotshell Pest Control 22 WMR Key Features

  • No. 12 Shot Payload: A 52-grain charge of fine pellets creates a close-range pest-control pattern.
  • Magnum Rimfire Chambering: The cartridge is designed for 22 WMR firearms, not 22 LR chambers.
  • Ported-Barrel Restriction: CCI warns against firing these shotshells through ported barrels or ported recoil compensators.
