CCI CB Pest Control 22 Short 29gr LRN 26 Overview
CCI CB Pest Control 22 Short 29 grain lead round nose 26 ammo combines a compact historical rimfire case with a deliberately reduced 710 fps muzzle velocity. The CB loading is designed for modest-noise shooting and short-range pest control where an appropriate 22 Short-compatible firearm is used.
The conventional 29-grain lead bullet is propelled at substantially lower speed than CCI's ordinary high-velocity rimfire cartridges, a meaningful consideration when choosing a load for close-range work. Supplied in a 100-round box, this is 22 Short ammunition rather than a shortened form of interchangeable 22 LR ammunition; firearm chamber compatibility must be checked.
CCI CB Pest Control 22 Short Key Features
- CB Loading: The reduced-power cartridge has a listed 710 fps muzzle velocity.
- 22 Short Chambering: The ammunition requires a firearm compatible with the 22 Short cartridge.
- Lead Round Nose: A 29-grain unjacketed bullet retains the traditional rounded profile.
